NEW REVIEWs
1)From Music Monthly Magazine:
"Delirious tremor is the brainchild of guitarist/composer,Tim jenkins.
Semi Hollow Body is a collection of seven instrumental jazz tunes. The tunes are structured around the traditional guitar/bass/drums format with the exception of the opening track,"Open wide And Holding" which features trumpeter,Nick Reider.
The Cd has a relaxing quality to the music, but underneath there is an undercurrent of intensity and urgency. Layered upon Tims remarkable guitar playing are David Sheets'innovative bass lines and David Huethers imaginative drumming.
My favorite on this CD is "Last Measure Of A Blues". This piece has an intricate balance of space and tones. It is like a Renoir, emoting feelings and colors as well as posessing a definitive melody. Slowly the drums and bass emerge and merge with the guitar creating a cohesive composition that is beautifully melancholy.
They are certainly one of the premier jazz trios in the area".---Kat Dickinson
20th Century Guitar Magazine has this to say about DT's most recent release:
DT - An album with a "guitaristic" name if there was one, Semi Hollow Body introduces the music of guitarist Tim Jenkins and the group Delirious Tremor. Assisted by David Sheets (bass) and David Huether (drums), Jenkins has written some intriguing instrumental music for the groupšs third album, combining upbeat and jazzy guitar music with a subtle progressive twist. A complex trio album with abundant improvisation, Delirious Tremor set their group apart adding elements of rock, folk and modern classical into their framework while the groupšs mastery of tricky time signatures enhance the swing and groove direction of the CD.

BREAKING NEWS!!
FLAMINGO ATTACKS ON THE RISE POLICE BAFFLED, LOCAL TEACHER HAILED AS HERO

WESTMINSTER, MD The neighborhood has finally returned to normal, and a drummer for the jazz trio "Delirious Tremor"
( www.delirioustremor.com ) is lucky to be alive.
The trio was in the middle of a photo shoot to promote an upcoming performance when things went horribly wrong.
"I couldn't believe it" said the bands photographer of the attack by a ravenous pink flamingo which attacked without warning "we were just shooting photos and everything was going well, then POW out of nowhere this flamingo appeared and attacked Dave!
My God , it was so scary...I still have dreams about it! I dont know what we would have done without Marilyn"
David Huethers life was saved by the wife of the groups guitarist, Marilyn Jenkins when she ran screaming out of the house
and restrained the snarling, squawking bird as it clawed and pecked Mr Huether mercilessly. The flamingo, rarely seen in western Maryland, has been found recently in research to have a biological trigger which sets its so called "fight or flight" responses into motion, as Johns Hopkins University professior Homagawd Fuhkinyeah explains: "...The flamingo you see, can actually be a very dangerous bird with very sharp talons, exceptional balance,
and an intense visceral response to the complex polyrhythmic sounds generated
when a jazz trio performs can yield deadly results" he said. "The flamingo had probably been waiting in the bushes to attack
the member of the band most audible from outside the house. Mr Huether is a very lucky man indeed to have made it out of this situation alive."
The Huether Family could not be reached for comment but the members of the trio
released a statement Wednesday saying that donations to IAPJF (the International Alliance to Protect Jazzers from Flamingos) were encouraged
"to help keep this kind of thing from happening again"
To make a donation, please contact LAPJF via email.
